With net assets of $11.2 billion as of November 30, 2015, the Fonds is a development capital fund that channels the savings of Quebecers into investments in all sectors of the economy to help create and maintain jobs and further Québec’s development. The Fonds is a partner, either directly or through its network members, in more than 2,550 companies. With more than 600,000 shareholder-savers, the Fonds helps create, maintain and protect more than 176,000 jobs.
Business Development Bank of Canada
The Business Development Bank of Canada is the only financial institution dedicated exclusively to entrepreneurs. Its mission is to help create and develop strong Canadian businesses through financing, advisory services and indirect financing, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.
Through its subsidiary—BDC Capital, it also offer a full spectrum of specialized financing, including venture capital, equity as well as growth and business transition capital.
iNovia Capital - MSBi Investment Fund L.P.
FIER Succès is a regional economic intervention fund (FIER). Regional investment funds contribute to the increase in private investment in venture capital in Quebec and greater accessibility of funding for start-ups and development. The various FIER funds invest predominantly in share capital.
Since 2006, FIER Succès has invested $ 20 million in innovative companies in the technology sector.
Inno-centre annually advises over 100 companies at various stages in their development. RESO Investissements Inc. (RII), a capital development fund for the Sud-Ouest, was born out of the community's need for a new tool that aided the start-up and growth of new business and strengthened existing businesses, ensuring that these businesses took root in the Sud-Ouest in the long term. The objectives of RII are:
